Editorial Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
1. Our Commitment to Quality
SiteGraph is committed to providing accurate, objective, and helpful information about websites and their technology stacks. This Editorial Policy outlines the standards and principles that guide our content and analysis.
2. Automated Analysis
Most of the content on SiteGraph is generated through automated analysis of publicly available website data. Our analysis engine follows strict algorithmic guidelines to ensure consistency and objectivity. Key principles include:
- Objectivity: Our analysis is based on observable data, not subjective opinion
- Transparency: We clearly indicate which data is automatically collected and which is manually curated
- Reproducibility: Our technology detection methodology is consistent across all analyzed websites
- Attribution: We cite public data sources where applicable
3. Correction Policy
If you identify incorrect information in our analysis, we encourage you to report it. We will:
- Promptly investigate reported inaccuracies
- Correct verified errors in our analysis
- Update our detection algorithms to improve accuracy for all websites
- Clearly communicate what has been corrected
To report an inaccuracy, please contact us with details about the domain and the specific information you believe is incorrect.
4. Independence
SiteGraph operates independently and does not accept payments for:
- Adjusting scores or analysis results
- Featuring or promoting specific websites
- Removing or suppressing negative analysis
Our analysis is based purely on technical data collected during website scans, not on commercial relationships.
5. Content Updates
Website data changes over time. SiteGraph regularly rescans websites to keep our index current. However, there may be a delay between when a website changes and when our analysis reflects those changes. We note the date of the most recent scan for each analysis report.
6. User-Generated Content
While SiteGraph does not currently support user-generated content such as comments or reviews, if such features are added in the future, they will be subject to moderation and community guidelines.
7. Third-Party References
When we reference third-party technologies, services, or companies, we do so based on publicly available information. References are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute endorsement.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Editorial Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
